
Pichai Sundararajan or Sundar Picha (Indian-American business executive) is more well-known. He is one of the chief executive officers (CEOs) of Alphabet Inc., its subsidiary Google, and was born in Madurai in India.[4Pichai obtained his master's degree in metallurgical engineering at IIT Kharagpur. After moving to the United States, Pichai earned an M.S. When he moved to the United States, he earned an M.S. in materials science and engineering at Stanford University. After a brief stint at the management consulting firm McKinsey and Co., Pichai joined Google in 2004, where he led the product management and innovation efforts for a suite of Google's client-facing software, including Google Chrome and ChromeOS as well as being the primary person responsible for Google Drive. He also managed the development of Google Maps and Gmail. Pichai announced in the year 2010 that Google had made the codec for video VP8 open source and introduced WebM an entirely new video format. The Chromebook was launched in 2012. Pichai further added Android to the Google products he was managing in 2013.
