Dolly-Parton
born on January. 19th of 1946 at Locust Ridge Tenn into a struggling family that would one day comprise 12 kids Dolly Parton learned early to escape the hardships of life through her vivid and far-ranging imagination. Even before learning to read and compose, she composed her own music. In the year she turned 8 at the time, she purchased the first electric guitar she owned and started singing at the Knoxville Tenn Radio Station. She released her debut album during the same year on Gold Band Records, a small label that was an independent. Despite being at school, she already made a name of herself within the local community. Her goal was to be more widely well-known. The day after she graduated in 1964 she relocated to Nashville. Her first charting hits from Monument Records included Dumb Blonde and Something Fishy both in 1967. Porter Wagoner had been looking for female performers to be a part of his syndicated show at this point. Parton accepted the role in 1966, joined RCA Records in 1968, and then the Grand Ole Opry was founded in the year 1969. She left the show in 1974 as her solo music, including Joshua Coat of Many Colors and Jolene had begun charting their collaborative efforts. Parton composed I Will Always love You to Wagoner in the aftermath of their breakup. It reached number one. In 1974, Parton's song I Will Always Love You climbed to the top spot at No.
