Harry Edward Styles, known in the world of music by the name of Harry Styles, is a British singer and composer who is regarded as being a part of the band One Direction. The band is based in Holmes Chapel in Cheshire England Styles is the son of Des Styles & Anne Cox. Harry Styles studied at the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School which is where he formed his own musical band with 3 schoolmates, which was named White Eskimo. The band's outstanding performances enabled them to beat their first Battle of Bands 2009. He was always interested in music but also wanted to pursue a career as an attorney, physiotherapist or even a scout. In order to provide for his family, he spent an hour or so working at a bakery. Harry Styles auditioned for The X Factor in the year 2010 and was a part of Is not She Lovely, the Stevie Wonder song. He was chosen. This was the reason that his band broke up. Nicole Scherzinger proposed to Harry Styles that he join of a new band called One Direction. The other band members included Liam Payne Zayn Mallik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson. The creation of the group began in 2010, and the five young people were funded by Simon Cowell. They performed the song Kelly Clarkson's My Life Would be Sucking Without You together with Bonnie Tyler Total Eclipse of the Heart. The result, they made it to the finalists. However, they finished third place behind Rebecca Ferguson, and the winner Matt Cardle. Even though Harry Styles and his group were not crowned winners, Cowell signed a deal worth 2 million pounds for One Direction to sign with Syco Records. Syco Record label.
