Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy is a 16-year old American who was who was born in Miami Florida. The girl is English and one-half Spanish. Parents are Dennis Alan Taylor an ex-banker and Jennifer Marina Joy psychologist. The father of her is Argentine with Scottish and English heritage. She is Spanish and has English roots. Taylor-Joy has five siblings four from her father's previous marriage. Buenos Aires was her home up until she was six years old, when the family moved into Victoria in London. Taylor Joy said the move from Buenos aires to Victoria was a struggle and she was not able to study English in hopes of going back to Argentina. She had to switch schools from Northlands in order to attend Hill House. Then she attended Queen's Gate School in London, where she took ballet classes and took part in plays. When she was 16 she left school in order to take on a full-time job in acting. Taylor-Joy had a destiny to become an actor from a young age. She realized her dream when Sarah Doukas, the founder of Storm Management offered her a modeling job.
