Comaneci received her honors in 1996 when she was inducted into the International Gymnastics Hall of Fame. In 1999, ABC News and Ladies Home Journal listed Comaneci one of the Top 100 female athletes from the 20th Century. Comaneci and Olympic Champion Bart Conner had a son Dylan Paul in April 1996. Bart Conner Gymnastics Academy and other gymnastics business are owned by the Conners. Comaneci serves as director of the Special Olympics International Muscular Dystrophy Association, and Laureus Sports For Good Foundation. She has also continued to give back to dozens of charitable causes in her native country of Romania which includes the Nadia Comaneci Children's Hospital in Bucharest.
